It is worth it if you can already make music and keep stalling in the same place. A music production mentor gets you to finish your tracks, gives you honest track feedback between sessions, and keeps you accountable for the next release. It is not worth it if you are looking for a shortcut, because the work is still yours to do.
Yes. Any session can be used as a demo feedback session. We listen to your track in high quality audio straight from your DAW, tell you honestly where it sits next to the records being signed in your genre, and give you the specific changes that would make it label-ready. You get written notes afterwards, so nothing gets lost once the call ends.
We get you label-ready and aim you at the right labels, which is most of the job. Label strategy is part of both pathways: which labels suit your sound, who to contact, how to present the demo and when to send it. You also get A&R-style feedback from people whose own records come out on labels, so you hear the verdict before an A&R does. Nobody can promise you a signing, and anyone who does is selling you something.
It depends on where your tracks are when you start, so nobody can put an honest date on it. We work on one record at a time until the arrangement and mixdown are Beatport-ready, then plan the label submissions around it. Most producers have something they are happy to send out inside the three months.
Yes. Sessions are one-to-one online over Zoom, so where you live makes no difference as long as we can find a time that suits us both. We are based in Warrington, UK, and work with producers worldwide.
