All private DJ lessons take place at Future Sound Academy’s dedicated studio in Warrington, Cheshire. The studio is positioned between Manchester and Liverpool and is accessible from across the North West.
Yes. Future Sound Academy is based in Warrington, approximately midway between Manchester and Liverpool. Students regularly travel from Greater Manchester for private one-to-one DJ coaching.

Yes. You do not need any previous DJ experience or equipment. We can take you through the full process, including equipment setup, track preparation, beatmatching, phrasing, EQ control, transitions and building a complete DJ set.
The DJ Academy provides structured one-to-one DJ coaching rather than large classroom-based courses. Your sessions follow a clear development path but can be adapted around your current experience, preferred music and goals.
Yes. Lessons can cover club-standard equipment, set preparation, track selection, mixing under pressure, recovering from mistakes and preparing for your first live performance.
You will learn using professional DJ equipment inside the Future Sound Academy studio, including Pioneer CDJs, a club-standard mixer and Technics vinyl turntables. You can also receive help with Rekordbox and preparing your own music library.
No. Everything required for your lessons is provided inside the studio. We can also help you choose the right setup when you are ready to practise at home.
Yes. Online DJ coaching is available for students who already have access to their own equipment. In-person lessons are delivered from our Warrington studio.
This depends on your starting level and goals. Some students book individual sessions to solve specific problems, while others follow a structured programme covering equipment, mixing, track preparation and performance.
