Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds, rescheduling and cancellations at FSA
This policy covers all Future Sound Academy bookings: DJ development sessions, production development programmes, track feedback sessions and gift vouchers. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
14-day cooling-off period
When you purchase online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind, contact us within 14 days of purchase — and at least 48 hours before your first booked session — and we will refund you in full, minus any non-refundable payment transaction fees.
Once your sessions or programme have begun, we are unable to offer refunds or partial refunds for the remaining sessions.
Rescheduling sessions
Life happens — sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice by email or phone. Each session is treated as its own booking, so please reschedule each one individually.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in that session being forfeited.
Lateness and missed sessions
If you arrive late, your session still ends at the scheduled time — the lost time cannot be added on or recovered. If you miss a session without notice, that session is forfeited.
Validity
DJ development session packs are valid for 2 years from the original purchase date. Production development programmes run across their stated duration (for example, 15 sessions across 6 months); if you need longer, talk to us — extensions are at our discretion and we are reasonable people.
Gift vouchers
Unredeemed gift vouchers can be refunded within the 14-day cooling-off period, minus any non-refundable transaction fees. Vouchers are valid for 2 years from the purchase date.
Track feedback sessions
Track feedback sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice, and refunded within 14 days of purchase provided the session has not yet taken place.
Cancellations by us
If we ever need to cancel or move a session — illness, equipment failure, the unexpected — you will always be offered a replacement session first, or a refund for that session if a replacement doesn't work for you.
