One browser. Native Access and Kontakt's library pane put everything in one place, tagged and searchable. A free setup is a folder of unrelated plugins, and finding a sound takes longer.
Depth. Free libraries are usually one microphone position and a handful of velocity layers. Komplete's are deeply sampled, and that shows on exposed parts.

Is It Worth It?
Honest answer: it depends whether you'll use the breadth.
